JUDGING PROCESS

All material is read by our small group of in-house readers and development experts to ensure transparency and a consistent judging process.

• All submissions are grouped by genre and judged according to the specific merits of the genre.
• All material is judged using our 16 Point Evaluation system, scoring each element on a scale of 1-10.
• There are three phases to the judging process and one judge never reads the same material twice.
• The first phase selects the top highest scoring screenplays in each category who become our quarter-finalists.
• The second phase adds the scores with the previous round and selects approximately the top 10% of the  highest scoring submissions in each category to become semi-finalists.
• The final stage will again judge each finalist according to the same scoring process, add the scores of the previous two rounds and the highest scores of each category will be named the winners.
• Winning screenplays and teleplays will be submitted to a core panel of 10 Senior Industry Entertainment Executives who will read, meet and decide upon the grand prize prize winner.
